In consideration of the significant political transformations that have recently occurred in Latin America, the GTFF Workers' Caucus will be hosting a film screening of "Even the Rain" (2010), a motion picture representing the events of the Cochabamba water war that transpired in Bolivia from late 1999 to early 2000. By showing this film the Workers' Caucus seeks to promote greater political consciousness about current events in the region and the history of them. The screening will be held at the GTFF office. We will be offering food for attendees starting at 5:30, and at 6:00 we will provide an introduction to the film and will begin the screening immediately thereafter. At the conclusion of the film, we will be holding brief a discussion for any that would like to stick around. If you are planning to come for food at 5:30, please signify that you are 'going'. This will help us plan for food quantity. We are looking forward to seeing many folks there!
